Background
If you are reading this and are new to the site, I will explain a little here. Esmerelda is an original character, but her alias (me) is also an admin. I roleplay with her, create important out of character posts and basically drive the whole plot forward.
Esmerelda (Essie for short) is currently about to attend school in Eucalyptus Academy, the site’s original Australian Wizarding School. As she grows up, she will create a lot of trouble in Australia, and her chaos will eventually spread throughout the world. She will eventually become almost a villain character. We are role playing through the Harry Potter books with the addition of oc’s, and while that is happening she will not be a villain. However, once Voldemort is defeated the original characters break loose and we are no longer following the book canon in any way.

Esmerelda wandered through the corridors of her old, run down house. She would be leaving soon, thank goodness. Nothing that awaited her at her new school could possibly be worse than this. Her parents were evidently not fussed where she went, they didn’t even bother to say goodbye. Bitter, she left the house clutching the handle of her trunk. “Bye Mum. Bye Dad. Not that you’re here to care.” she walked down to the communal portkey that all the new first years were huddle around up the hill. She frowned refusing to speak to anyone. She must do better, be better, than her parents.
